1. About Easyexit

Easyexit (“we”, “us”) is an online marketplace that connects people selling a small business, shop space or equipment (“sellers”) with people who want to buy (“buyers”). We are a matchmaker, not a broker or agent. We are not a party to any deal, and we take no commission. Price, payment, contracts, transfer of licences and leases, and handover are agreed directly between buyer and seller.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter a binding contract under Indian law, and use a valid Indian mobile number. Staff accounts (admins and verifiers) are separate from buyer and seller accounts.

3. Your account

You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). Keep access to your phone secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.

4. KYC

Before contacting a seller or listing a business, you must verify your identity (KYC) through DigiLocker or by uploading an ID and selfie. You must provide true, current documents that belong to you.

5. Listings and verification

  • Sellers must describe their business honestly and must own it or be authorised to sell it.
  • Each listing is checked on a live video call and receives a Basic or Fully Verified badge. A badge means we saw the documents and premises shown to us on the call; it is not a guarantee of the business's value, profits, legal status or future performance.
  • Once a seller books their verification call, the listing may be shown publicly marked Unverified. Buyers can view it, but can't send requests until it has been verified.
  • Listings must not contain phone numbers, email addresses or links; contact happens through the platform after the seller approves a buyer.
  • Listings are re-verified every 90 days, and we may pause, hide or remove a listing that breaks these terms or receives repeated reports.

6. Buyers

Do your own checks (due diligence) before any payment — inspect the premises, documents, licences, lease and accounts, and take professional advice where needed. Show interest only in businesses you are genuinely considering, attend the visits you book, and treat sellers with respect.

7. Fees

Using the marketplace is free unless a fee is shown before you pay — for example a verification fee or a featured listing. Fees are shown in Indian rupees and are non-refundable once the service has been delivered, except where the law requires otherwise or we say so.

8. Not allowed

Fraud or misleading information; listing anything illegal; impersonating someone; harassment or abuse; sharing contact details to bypass the platform; scraping, spamming or interfering with the service; using another person's account or documents.

9. Reports, suspension and termination

Anyone can report a listing or user. We may investigate, hide listings, suspend or ban accounts, and remove content that breaks these terms or the law. You can stop using Easyexit at any time.

10. Content you share

You keep ownership of the photos, text and documents you upload. You allow us to store and display them as needed to run the service (public listing content to everyone; private documents only to our staff, and hidden details only to buyers you approve).

11. Limitation of liability

Easyexit is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any deal between users, for losses arising from information provided by other users, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Easyexit means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [City], India have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
